About Me
My love affair with jewelry began when I was quite small. Before long, however, I learned to look past the sparkle and began thinking, "hmmmm, this might look better if...." A ten-year-old armed with her father's needle nose pliers and wire cutters, as well as her mother's tweezers, can create some very interesting things indeed by re-setting stones, making earrings out of bits of bracelets and fashioning just about anything into a pendant.
Of course my technique and vision have been refined over the past 30 or so years. I'm not shy about experimenting with different media. I've used the lampworking technique to create glass beads, and studied fine jewelry design and metalsmithing (an area I plan to pursue further).
I'm continually looking to master new techniques in creating beautiful artistic pieces. I've been designing and creating jewelry since early 2005. My favorite techniques include stringing beads on sturdy-yet-flexible beading wire, and using wire-wrapping techniques to embellish sterling silver chains and findings.
I personally create each piece with attention to design and function. I hope you'll love wearing my jewelry as much as I've enjoyed making it!
